Nascha is an artist who lives and works in Kentucky. She is Apache related and has been given the name of "Owlspirit". (Navajo for owl - Nascha).

Although she is mainly self-taught, she has studied with Joseph Testasecca of Hillsborough College, Tampa, Florida. Her drawings and paintings have sold in the United States, Canada, Panama, and Norway.

Most of her work now is involved with the Native American Cultures of North, South and Central America. Nascha does extensive research for authenticity and detail which she incorporates into her artistic creations for "Nascha" and "Bear Creek Design".

She takes her own philosophy from the words of Joy Harjo (Creek).. "Remember that You are the Universe...And this Universe is You."
